Azerbaijan photo requirements

Azerbaijan photo requirements are set by Ministry of Internal Affairs, Main Passport, Registration and Migration Department (Baş Pasport, Qeydiyyat və Miqrasiya İdarəsi), via ASAN xidmət centres (asan.gov.az). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Azerbaijan Passport Photo (photographed at the ASAN centre; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For an Azerbaijani ordinary passport (ümumvətəndaş pasportu) issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs through 'ASAN xidmət' centres to citizens of any age. The ASAN page says the centre photographs you to ICAO requirements with its own equipment and lists no photo among the documents, so this page is a reference frame only. Not for the identity card, an Azerbaijani e-visa or a driving licence.35 x 45 mmnot statedverified 2026-10-10
