Eritrea photo requirements

Eritrea photo requirements are set by Department of Immigration and Nationality, Ministry of Interior (no reachable website); Eritrean embassies abroad. We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Eritrean Passport Photo (no readable national rule; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For an Eritrean passport issued by the Department of Immigration and Nationality or an Eritrean embassy, as a reference only: no Eritrean government site answered us and the Wayback Machine holds no immigration or foreign-ministry page for gov.er, so the frame, head band and all other values are the ICAO Doc 9303 defaults, flagged as such. Not for an Eritrean identity card, visa or driving licence, for which nothing could be read either.35 x 45 mmnot readverified 2026-10-10

We are an independent service, not a government website. Applying for a passport or visa is done with your government; we only prepare the photo.
