For a Honduran passport applied for, renewed or replaced in person at an Instituto Nacional de Migración office after booking online, by adults over 21 and by under-21s with both parents. The office captures the photograph with the fingerprints and other biometrics and publishes no photo format, so this page is a reference frame. Not for the DNI identity card, a Honduran visa or residence permit, nor for a driving licence.

What trips people up
- CheckThe office takes the picture: 'El trámite de pasaporte es personal. El solicitante deberá presentarse en la oficina correspondiente para realizar la captura de fotografía, huellas y demás datos biométricos requeridos.' (the procedure is personal; you attend the office for the capture of the photograph, fingerprints and other biometric data). No print appears in any requirement list.
- CheckAdults (over 21) bring 'Presentar Documento Nacional de Identificación (DNI) original y copia.', 'Recibo de pago realizado en bancos autorizados.' and the previous passport if any. The adult threshold is 21, not 18: the page heads its lists 'mayores de 21 años' and 'menores de 21 años'.
- CheckUnder-21s bring 'Certificación de Acta de Nacimiento original de emisión reciente.', attend with both parents ('Presencia de ambos padres con su DNI original y copia.') and a receipt in the minor's name; an absent parent sends a legalised notarial power.
- CheckPayment is made at an authorised bank before the visit, by validity period and passport type at the official tariff; the page gives no amounts. Lost or stolen booklets need a DPI (police) report first; emergency passports exist case by case.

The crown-to-chin portion of the facial image shall be 70 to 80 per cent of the longest dimension defined for Zone V, maintaining the aspect ratio between the crown-to-chin and ear-to-ear details of the face of the holder.
