North Macedonia photo requirements

North Macedonia photo requirements are set by Ministry of Internal Affairs (Министерство за внатрешни работи, mvr.gov.mk). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

North Macedonia Passport Photo (photographed at the МВР counter; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For a passport of the Republic of North Macedonia applied for in person at a Ministry of Internal Affairs administrative-service office, for children under 4, 4 to 18, 18 to 27 and over 27. The ministry lists no photograph among the documents and books 'photographing' appointments for personal documents, so this page is a reference frame only. Not for the identity card, a North Macedonian visa or a driving licence.35 x 45 mmnot statedverified 2026-10-10
