Tunisia photo requirements

Tunisia photo requirements are set by Ministère de l'Intérieur, Direction générale de la Sûreté nationale (وزارة الداخلية، الإدارة العامة للأمن الوطني) (interieur.gov.tn). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Tunisian Passport Photo (no readable national rule; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For a Tunisian passport (passeport tunisien, جواز سفر تونسي) issued by the Ministry of the Interior to Tunisian citizens at home or through missions abroad, as a reference only: the ministry publishes the application form but no document list we could read, and the foreign ministry's consular page is missing, so the frame, head band and all other values are the ICAO Doc 9303 defaults. Not for the national identity card, a Tunisian visa or a driving licence.35 x 45 mmnot readverified 2026-10-10
