Uzbekistan Passport Photo (ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference; no readable national rule): size and requirements
The Uzbekistan Passport Photo size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 x 1.77 inches). Not stated by any readable Uzbek source; white is our rendering choice; head 70 to 80 percent of the photo height. Photo taken within the last 6 months. Last verified 2026-10-10 against Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan (no passport photo page located on 2026-10-10), with ICAO Doc 9303.
For the biometric passport and international travel passport of the Republic of Uzbekistan, issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs' migration and citizenship offices. No national photo rule could be read (see note), so this spec is the ICAO Doc 9303 reference frame only; confirm with the office before buying any photo. Not for the e-visa or the ID-karta.
Check with the migration office or your consulate before buying: we could not read Uzbekistan's photo rule, so treat our 35 x 45 mm ICAO print as a best guess, not an official format. See the Uzbekistan documents we can prepare.

What trips people up
- CheckNo national rule could be read: my.gov.uz/en/service/passport returned 'No results found' (404) and no passport photo page was located on an Uzbek government host on 2026-10-10. Everything here is the ICAO Doc 9303 reference frame (35 x 45 mm, head 70 to 80 per cent, taken within six months), flagged as such.
- CheckAsk before you print: Uzbek biometric passports are widely reported to be issued with a photo captured at the migration office, but we could not read that from an official page, so we do not assert it.
- CheckUzbek citizens abroad apply through consulates, which publish their own photo instructions; use theirs.
- CheckIf the office or consulate hands you a size or count, use theirs; our frame is a default, not an official format.

All four quotes are ICAO Doc 9303 Part 3 (sources/icao/, Wayback 2024-09-12) and supply every geometry value; archiveSnapshot is that excerpt's date. source.url is the my.gov.uz portal, whose /en/service/passport route returned 404 on 2026-10-10 (sources/uz/mygov-passport.txt). Nothing on this spec is quoted from an Uzbek passport page. background 'white', dpi 300, glasses and headCovering are rendering defaults. Eligibility 'restricted' records that we could not establish whether offices photograph applicants or accept prints.
We are an independent service, not a government website. Applying for a passport or visa is done with your government; we only prepare the photo.
