The checker measures the strips along the top and the upper sides of your photo, in the same proportions our photo tool samples (it samples the cropped photo, this checker the whole one), and reports their average colour, brightness and evenness against the background the chosen document asks for.

How it works

  2. Choose a photo. It is drawn small on a canvas in your browser and the edge strips are measured.
  3. The verdict says whether /make would keep this background or replace it with the required colour by default.
