For the two passport-size photographs on a white background that the Department of Immigration and National Registration lists when a Bruneian replaces a damaged passport while abroad through a Brunei mission - the only passport route on the department's page that names a photograph. The lists for applications inside Brunei (lost, damaged or fire-damaged passports) name no photograph, so the counter is assumed to capture the image. The department publishes no size, so the frame here is the ICAO reference. Not for a Brunei visa or the Kad Pengenalan identity card.

- CheckThe only photo line on the department's travel-document page is in the list for a damaged passport replaced abroad ('Permohonan diluar Negara Brunei Darussalam'): '2 keping gambar berukuran pasport (latarbelakang warna putih)' - two passport-size photos, white background - together with the form, copies of the passport and identity card, 'Surat dari sekolah, universiti atau majikan' (a letter from the school, university or employer) and a permission letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. No size, head rule or age limit is published; the ICAO values here are ours.
