Georgia photo requirements

Georgia photo requirements are set by Public Service Development Agency (სახელმწიფო სერვისების განვითარების სააგენტო), Ministry of Justice, via Public Service Halls (sda.gov.ge). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Georgian Passport Photo ('Color photo', or GEL 5 at the Public Service Hall; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For the colour photograph listed for a biometric passport of a citizen of Georgia (and for the stateless, refugee and humanitarian travel passports on the same page) applied for at a Public Service Development Agency office, a Public Service Hall or a Georgian mission abroad. The agency publishes no size or framing and offers to photograph you for GEL 5, so this page is a reference frame.
