Greece photo requirements
Greece photo requirements are set by Διεύθυνση Διαβατηρίων και Εγγράφων Ασφαλείας, Ελληνική Αστυνομία (Hellenic Police Passport Directorate). We publish 2 documents: 2 passports. The most common print size is 40 x 60 mm (1.57 in x 2.36 in); 1 document accepts a digital upload. Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-07).
Passports
- Greek Passport Photo (διαβατήριο, digital 1280 x 1600 px via myPhoto)For the digital face photo attached to a Greek passport application: inside Greece only through the gov.gr myPhoto service after a professional photographer uploads it, abroad also as a file the citizen uploads to the Foreign Ministry's consular platform.
