- CheckNo form in advance: the consular administrator fills the form from your documents and you sign it. Bring your current or recently expired passport or ID card, address card, and any name-change certificate.
- CheckFingerprints from 12: 'Above 12, fingerprints must be provided, therefore passport applications cannot be submitted at Honorary Consuls in the case of adult applicants.'

Quote 5 is the embassy's passport/ID overview (sources/hu/london-mfa-passport-id.txt). Quotes 6-7 are ICAO Doc 9303 Part 3 (sources/icao/, Wayback 2024-09-12) and supply the reference frame; archiveSnapshot is that excerpt's date, the embassy pages were read live. Timing and validity figures in the gotchas are from the same embassy pages. physical 35 x 45 mm, background 'white', dpi 300, glasses and headCovering are ICAO-style defaults: no Hungarian photo rule is published because the office captures the image.
