Lithuania photo requirements

Lithuania photo requirements are set by Migracijos departamentas prie Lietuvos Respublikos vidaus reikalų ministerijos (Migration Department), MIGRIS portal (migracija.lt). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Lithuanian Passport Photo (no readable national rule; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For a Lithuanian passport (Lietuvos Respublikos pasas) issued by the Migration Department to Lithuanian citizens through MIGRIS and its branches, as a reference only: the department's pages were unreadable to us and the one line we did read says biometric data are scanned by the department, so the frame, head band and every other value here are the ICAO Doc 9303 defaults. Not for the identity card, a Lithuanian visa or a driving licence.35 x 45 mmnot readverified 2026-10-10

Authorities and portals

Passport authority: Migracijos departamentas prie Lietuvos Respublikos vidaus reikalų ministerijos (Migration Department), MIGRIS portal (migracija.lt)
Sources we read: Migracijos departamentas prie Lietuvos Respublikos vidaus reikalų ministerijos (Migration Department under the Ministry of the Interior), MIGRIS service list for citizens, with the ICAO Doc 9303 Part 3 reference frame standing in for the rule we could not read

We are an independent service, not a government website. Applying for a passport or visa is done with your government; we only prepare the photo.
