Senegal photo requirements

Senegal photo requirements are set by Direction de la Police des étrangers et des Titres de voyage (DPETV), Ministère de l'Intérieur et de la Sécurité publique (interieur.gouv.sn). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Senegal Passport Photo (Ministère de l'Intérieur: 3 colour ID photos; ICAO 35 x 45 mm reference)For the three colour identity photographs listed by the Ministère de l'Intérieur et de la Sécurité publique for an ordinary Senegalese passport (passeport ordinaire) - first issue from birth, or renewal once after the 4-year validity - filed at the commissariat de police of your home (in Dakar by appointment after paying at the Enregistrement et Timbre) or at a Senegalese embassy abroad. The sheet publishes the count only, so the frame, background and head band here are the ICAO reference. Not for the carte nationale d'identité biométrique, whose sheet lists no photograph.35 x 45 mmnot publishedverified 2026-10-10
