What trips people up
- CheckThe IC application needs 'Your recent passport-sized, digital, colour photograph taken within the last three months', uploaded in the e-Service; the ICA Photo Guidelines (400 x 514 px, jpg/jpeg/heic/heif/png, 8 MB) apply exactly as for the passport.
- CheckICA processes an IC application within seven working days, but 'Your application will be delayed if your photograph ... do not meet the requirements', so a rejected photo costs you the whole queue again.
- CheckNo editing at all: ICA refuses photos that are 'altered or enhanced in any way', including software background removal, so we keep your original backdrop and only crop and resize.
- CheckICA's own Dos and Don'ts video is titled for 'your IC and passport applications': one standard, so a photo that passed for your passport within the last three months passes here too.

Quotes 1-2 are from the IC re-registration page at source.url (sources/sg/ica-ic-reregistration.txt), which links to the Photo Guidelines for every photo rule. Quotes 3-6 are from https://www.ica.gov.sg/photo-guidelines (sources/sg/ica-photo-guidelines.txt). Quote 7 is the video caption on https://www.ica.gov.sg/documents/passport/apply (sources/sg/ica-passport-apply.txt). Quotes 8-9 are from passport form IMM(E)11 (sources/sg/ica-form-imme-11-os.txt); head.statedAs is that form's verbatim sentence and the 25-35 mm band is applied to the IC by inference from ICA's single photo standard (the Photo Guidelines page and its 'IC and passport' video caption), because the IC pages themselves publish no millimetre geometry. The saved re-registration page covers only the age-30 and age-55 re-registrations; first registration at 15 is not covered by any saved source and is not claimed in scope. No print route is authored because IC registration is online only on the pages read. glasses, head-covering, expression and age values mirror sg/passport. editing 'unaltered-required' follows the no-alteration rule.
