Syria photo requirements

Syria photo requirements are set by Immigration and Passports Department, Ministry of Interior; Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates (وزارة الخارجية والمغتربين) missions abroad via mofaex.gov.sy. We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 40 x 40 mm (1.57 in x 1.57 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

The same list is the best guide for renewals at missions. Not for a passport applied for inside Syria at the Immigration and Passports Department, whose rule we could not read, and not for a Syrian visa or identity card.40 x 40 mmبخلفية بيضاءverified 2026-10-10
