Turkmenistan photo requirements

Turkmenistan photo requirements are set by Türkmenistanyň Döwlet migrasiýa gullugy (State Migration Service, migration.gov.tm). We publish 1 document: 1 passport. The most common print size is 30 x 40 mm (1.18 in x 1.57 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Turkmenistan Passport Photo (State Migration Service: one 3 x 4 cm print)For the single printed photograph listed by the State Migration Service for a biometric passport of a citizen of Turkmenistan - children under 16, citizens aged 16-18 and adults over 18 all hand in 'One 3x4 photo' with the birth certificate, the citizen's passport and the other papers on the list. The service publishes the size and count only, so the head band and background here are defaults. Not for a Turkmen visa, the internal passport or a driving licence.30 x 40 mmnot publishedverified 2026-10-10
