Armenia photo requirements

Armenia photo requirements are set by Migration and Citizenship Service (Միգրացիայի և քաղաքացիության ծառայություն), Ministry of Internal Affairs (migration.mia.gov.am; documents listed on hartak.am). We publish 2 documents: 1 passport and 1 visa. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in); 1 document accepts a digital upload. Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Armenian Passport Photo (35 x 45 mm, two colour prints)For the two colour photographs handed in with an application for a passport of the Republic of Armenia by a citizen aged 16 or over at a passport division of the Migration and Citizenship Service (the hartak.am booking page for adults). Children under 16 follow a separate hartak.am service that was not read. Not for the identification card, an Armenian e-visa or a driving licence.35 x 45 mmnot statedverified 2026-10-10

Visas

Armenia e-Visa Photo (upload: JPG/PNG/BMP, 250 px minimum side; ICAO 35 x 45 reference frame)For the facial photo uploaded to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' E-VISA Issuance System (evisa.mfa.am) by a foreign visitor applying for a 21-day or 120-day Armenian visitor e-visa.
