Chad photo requirements

Chad photo requirements are set by Agence Nationale des Titres Sécurisés (ANATS, anats.td); e-Visa portal evisa.td (Direction de l'Emigration et de l'Immigration). We publish 3 documents: 1 passport, 1 ID card and 1 driving licence. The most common print size is 40 x 40 mm (1.57 in x 1.57 in). Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-10).

Passports

Chad Passport Photo (ANATS: one colour 4 x 4 cm photo)For a Chadian passport requested at an ANATS Centre d'Accueil des Usagers - first request, renewal or replacement - whose file includes 'Une photo 4x4 couleur': one colour 40 x 40 mm print alongside the NNI, birth certificate copy, population-register extract, proof of profession, three witnesses and the payment receipt. The head band and background are the ICAO reference because the ANATS publishes none. Not for a Chad e-Visa (no photo rule published) and not the same frame as a 35 x 45 passport print.40 x 40 mmnot publishedverified 2026-10-10
