- 需检查不是35 x 45：“照片尺寸必须为40mm（宽）X 50mm（高）。照片中人物从下巴到头顶的尺寸应为32mm至36mm。头顶上方应留有足够空间。”即头部占64-72 %，小于ICAO的70-80 %范围。
- 需检查电子文件：“Image type: JPEG”、“File size: 5MB or below”，以及“Captured by scanner (600dpi) - Photograph size: 40 mm(W) x 50 mm(H)”或“Captured by digital camera - Image size: at least 1200 px(W) x 1600 px(H)”。
- 需检查头饰和服装：“拍照时请勿佩戴头饰，并避免浓妆以及颜色过深或过浅的服装。”页面上未写明宗教豁免。

- 需检查办理一般需要5个工作日，网上申请另加2至3个工作日；新护照须本人携带永久性居民身份证领取。
付款前请了解
入境处的自助服务站提供拍照服务，因此如果您在服务站申请，完全可以不用准备文件；上传文件只对互联网和流动应用程序途径有意义。

The photograph should show your full frontal face with clear facial features.
The photograph should have a plain white background.
The size of the photograph must be 40mm (width) X 50mm (height). The size from chin to crown for the person in the photograph should be 32mm to 36mm. There should be sufficient headroom.
When you take the photograph, please do not wear head dress, and avoid heavy make-up and overly dark or overly light-coloured clothing.
