适用于在身份证明局换领澳门特区居民身份证（Bilhete de Identidade de Residente，BIR）时所用照片：最近12个月内在照相馆拍摄的冲印照片、该局现场免费拍摄的照片，或合作照相馆上传至“澳门公共服务一户通”“我的相片”的照片。该局还会现场采集指纹，25岁以下者还会测量身高。不适用于澳门特区护照或旅行证，其照片最多为6个月内拍摄。

常见问题点
- 需检查身份证的规定：“Applicant can choose to submit a 1.5-inch, color, bareheaded and full-faced photograph in plain white background which is taken at a photography studio within the last 12 months, or use the photograph taken on-site at no cost”（即提交最近12个月内在照相馆拍摄的1.5英寸彩色免冠正面纯白色背景照片，或使用现场免费拍摄的照片），此处为十二个月，而护照为六个月。
- 需检查无论如何都须本人到场：“Applicants have to proceed to DSI offices in person for photo-taking and fingerprint impression.”且25岁以下者须现场测量身高，因此柜台免费拍照是常规途径；使用自助服务机和应用的申请人“can choose to use the photograph taken at self-service kiosks or the "photograph for identification documents" in "My Photos" of the "Macao One Account" which is taken by a contracted photography studio within the past 12 months”。
