Indonesia photo requirements

Indonesia photo requirements are set by Direktorat Jenderal Imigrasi, Kementerian Imigrasi dan Pemasyarakatan (Directorate General of Immigration). We publish 2 documents: 1 passport and 1 visa. The most common print size is 35 x 45 mm (1.38 in x 1.77 in); 1 document accepts a digital upload. Each page quotes the official rule for size, head height, background and file, links the source we read, and shows the date we last checked it (most recently 2026-10-08).

Passports

Indonesian Passport Photo (paspor biasa: taken at the immigration office)For an ordinary Indonesian passport (paspor biasa, electronic or non-electronic) applied for through the M-Paspor app or at an immigration office counter in Indonesia.
